Complete dentures are used when there are no longer any healthy teeth left in the mouth. Generally, your dentist will determine if this option is right for you, and then pull any remaining healthy teeth. Depending on your needs, you may receive your full set of dentures immediately, or your dentist may request that you return in a couple months in order to give the jaw time to fully heal.
